The difference

A mount is the easy part. The cables are the craft.

Anyone can drill a bracket into a wall. The professional install is what you don't see — power and HDMI routed inside the wall, with proper fire-rated grommets at top and bottom. No exposed cables. No trunking strip running down to the socket.

We work with concrete, plasterboard, brick, and timber-frame walls. Each one needs a different fixing approach, and we bring the right gear for all of them.

Bracket types

Pick the right swing.

Bracket choice depends on the wall, the TV weight, and how you'll watch. We'll recommend the right one on visit day.

Fixed (flush)

Sits flat against the wall — usually 25–35mm gap. Cleanest look. Best for TVs viewed from straight on, in alcoves, or above a fireplace where viewing angle is already set.

25–35MM PROFILE

Tilt

Same flush look, but the TV angles down up to 15°. Essential when mounted higher than eye level — above a fireplace, in a kitchen, in a child's bedroom.

0–15° TILT

Full-motion

Pulls away from the wall, swivels, tilts. Ideal for open-plan rooms, kitchens, or any setup where you watch from different positions. Heavier bracket, slightly thicker profile.

Typical jobs

Common scenarios we handle.

Living-room flush mount

55–75" TV at eye-level, fixed bracket, single existing power socket, cables concealed in plasterboard. ~2 hours.

Above fireplace, tilt

Tilt bracket, power routed through brick chimney breast with deep-drill kit. Heat-safe positioning advised.

Kitchen full-motion

Smaller (32–43") TV on full-motion arm, pulls out for cooking, folds flat for everyday. Often paired with Chromecast.

Bedroom secondary TV

Wall-mounted second TV, concealed cables, paired with new soundbar. Often part of a wider smart-home upgrade.

Concrete-wall install

External or load-bearing walls common in 70s/80s Irish homes. SDS drill, masonry anchors, longer fixings.

TV relocation

Moving an existing TV to a new wall (or new house). Old mount removal, hole repair, new install. Often paired with a Wi-Fi survey.

FAQ

TV mounting questions.

Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Yes — with a tilt bracket and proper assessment. We check the wall surface temperature, the chimney breast construction, and the viewing angle. If the wall runs hot we'll tell you and recommend an alternative position.
Do I supply the bracket, or do you?
Either works. Most clients want us to spec and supply — we use Sanus, Vogels, or Multibrackets depending on TV size and budget. Hardware is quoted at cost in writing.
Can you hide all the cables inside the wall?
In plasterboard or stud walls, yes — power and HDMI run inside the cavity with fire-rated grommets. In solid concrete or brick walls, we use a slim trunking painted to match, or run cables through the chimney breast where appropriate.
My TV is 75". Will the wall hold it?
Almost always yes. Modern TVs are lightweight (a 75" OLED is usually 30–40kg). Plasterboard with proper toggles can hold this, but solid wall is better. We confirm fixing points during the site visit.
Will you take away my old TV stand?
Yes, we can remove and dispose of the old stand or wall mount as part of the job for a small fee, including responsible recycling.
